Python Bites Man on the Toilet, Man Beats Snake With Toilet Brush

In a scene you just have to see to believe, a 12-foot-long python bit a man on his testicles as he was on the toilet in Thailand. The order of events that followed the initial bite isn’t totally clear, but at some point, the man grabbed the snake’s head and it bit him again on the hand. The man then grabbed a toilet brush and used it to kill the snake, before pulling the entire length of the python from the toilet and going to the hospital for his injuries.

The man’s name is Thanat Thangtewanon, and he posted photos and videos of his insane experience to his public Facebook profile on August 19. Photos show a large python snake and a blood-splattered toilet. Videos show Thangtewanon holding the snake by the head.

Thankfully, pythons are not venomous. These animals constrict their prey rather than relying on a toxic bite to finish them off. But pythons do bite, as Thangtewanon can tell you firsthand.

Thangtewanon’s Story

“Today, I just have time to write a post to share my experience and I want to warn all my friends,” Thangtewanon wrote on Facebook in Thai (translated to English here). “It happened yesterday around 10 o’clock, I woke up and went to the toilet to do my usual personal business . . . I sat for a while, I felt something biting my balls, which was very painful, so I put my hands in. Yes, I was caught by a snake, which was biting my balls.”

Thangtewanon continues to tell the story, ending with a thank you to friends, family, and strangers for worrying about him. He clearly hopes this horrifying tale will help prevent other peoples’ privates from suffering as his have.
