Huge Bear Sneaks up on Family in Their Driveway

A black bear in Simbury, Connecticut didn’t realize it wasn’t invited to the party. A home security camera captured the moment the large bear starts walking through a front yard and across a driveway, pausing just feet away from two women sitting in lawn chairs and three young kids playing with a ball.

Kristin Lee shared the video with local news, saying her nine-year-old son was the first to spot the bear. In fact, in the video, you can hear the boy yell “bear!” before running inside. After a few seconds, one of the women says “what?” And then the women turn to look behind them.

As soon as they see the bear, the women jump up, scoop up the kids, and usher everyone inside. One woman says “go, go, go!” as they’re rushing through the front door to safety.

In reality, the bear didn’t seem to be too interested in the humans. As soon as they were all inside, the animal continued passing through the yard.
