The Washington Post shared a video of the weasel caught red-pawed stealing the shoes on a security camera. Although quite annoying for these children and their parents, it is pretty cute to see the weasel work so hard to steal the shoes. The animal had stolen nearly two dozen shoes before officials could figure out what was happening.
“Police in southwest Japan installed cameras after nearly two dozen children’s shoes went missing from Gosho Kodomo-en kindergarten in Fukuoka,” wrote The Washington Post in its Instagram post sharing the security-cam footage. “The culprit? A weasel.”
