Random Black Bear Walks Down the Street in Gatlinburg (Video)

“Just #gatlinburg things,” writes one TikTok user in the caption of a video showing a large black bear walking down the street in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. “I was walking down the Gatlinburg strip with my boyfriend when we turned the corner and ran face first into this big guy.”

In the video, a woman named Jordyn Rogers records as a large black bear saunters into view. The bear briefly turns toward her, and she says, “No, sir.” Thankfully, the bear keeps walking straight down the street. A car driving by slows way down upon spotting the random animal, and the car’s passenger looks on in shock.

Gatlinburg is a gateway community to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Black bears live there, just usually farther in the wilderness.
