The video shows a sophisticated setup with barriers defining their camping space, wardrobes for the family’s clothes inside a large multi-room family tent, and a carpeted living space complete with an inflatable couch and a TV.
Louise’s TikTok has 4.7 million views so far and over 83,000 likes. The comment section is hilarious, so grab some popcorn.
Some people think the U.K. family’s version of “camping” is a little too extravagant to even qualify as camping.
“I love camping. And I do love your equipment but some are just pure laugh to me,” one person says.
“I will never understand this style of camping . . . ” says another.
Some people give Louise a hard time for the wardrobes, while others pick on her for bringing a TV. Several commenters say the family might as well just rent a campervan or a hotel room if they plan to go to these lengths to be comfortable.
