Man Takes Incredible Photos With the Moon

Daniel Antoniol stole the moon, and there’s photographic evidence. Antoniol is an artist from Brazil who’s just a little bit obsessed with the moon and photographing it in its different phases. He doesn’t just photograph the moon, though, he photographs himself with the moon.

In one of his most famous series of photos, Antoniol masterfully sets up his shots so it looks like he’s holding the moon and putting it into the trunk of his car. In other clever photos, Antoniol appears to be transporting the moon in a wheelbarrow, catching it in a jar, and holding it from a string like a balloon.

By day, Antoniol is a civil engineer, but by sundown, he’s creating his unique and mind-blowing “moon art,” often taking photos at his family’s farm. He reportedly started this passion project back in 2020.

“It was with [the moon] that I managed . . . to go out to travel the world and the universe with my imagination,” he told Metro.
