Mama Moose and Calf Trot Through Woods

A series of trail cam videos show a mama moose and her calf trotting through woods and streams near Anchorage, Alaska. Donna Gail Shaw posted the videos in a Facebook group called Muldoon Area Trail Photos and Videos, saying that she caught the same pair on several different cameras placed in the area as they made their way to wherever they were going. She notes they were moving quickly, and it’s fun to see how in sync the two animals were as they moved.

“Mama moose and calf on the run near the AWWU pump house (southwest of Klutina Dr.) and near the log,” Shaw wrote in her Facebook post sharing the videos. “I captured them on four different cameras and they were making good time. My cameras did not capture anything in pursuit of them.”
