A Turkey Trot running event in Watertown, New York turned dangerous when some deer raced through the human runners’ path. One deer in particular slammed into a group of runners, taking several of them down in the process. A local business shared a video of the insane moment on its social media page, and the video has gotten a lot of press.

Derrigo’s Service Center says someone sent the video to them but that they didn’t need to send out a roadside assistance vehicle to the event. One woman shared Derrigo’s Service Center’s video, claiming she was there.
“We ran the Turkey Trot this am and look what happened!” wrote Joleene DesRosiers. “One woman went to the hospital, but with minor injuries.”
We hope the women involved in the deer collision are OK.
