Standing on a rocky outcrop and surrounded by crashing waves, a fisherman has his line in the foaming surf far below, and he’s trying to reel something in. Meanwhile, a bystander comes upon the scene and films it, noting that this is possibly the most epic fishing spot ever. As the man struggles to pull up his catch, one wonders if he’s caught some sort of mythical creature.

“Bros about to catch the Kraken,” quips Isaac Bradshaw, who shared the viral video to Instagram. The overlaid text reads: “stumbled upon this guy at THE fishing spot.”
Unfortunately, there is no information about where exactly this is, and we don’t have any closure on whether or not this man did, in fact, catch a kraken (or anything at all). But when the person filming zooms out to show the whole scene to some grand music, you kind of forget about whatever’s on his line and just focus on the incredible place where this man is fishing.
