Trail Cam Captures Bath Time for Family of Black Bears

The Center for Biological Diversity recently shared a trail-cam video showing a family of three black bears having bath time in a creek. Though the nonprofit doesn’t provide a location for this trio, it says these bears live in North America’s borderlands to the south.

The picturesque scene shows three black bears, possibly a mother and her two cubs, entering the stream and then playing, cleaning themselves, and just having a quick swim. It’s one of those moments humans likely would never witness without the help of a remote trail camera.

“It’s bath time for these black bears in the borderlands!” the organization wrote in its LinkedIn post sharing the footage. “Did you know? Our borderlands to the south make up one of the biggest ecosystem complexes in North America, with some of the least populated areas and most important wildlife habitats remaining on the continent.”
