A video circulating online shows a tiger feeling queasy after nibbling on a dead python. The footage itself shows the tiger gagging and chewing on grass while poking and sniffing at the dead animal. Witnesses report the tiger had eaten some of the python and then vomited.
Bharat Samachar shared the video of the aftermath on X, saying the wild scene took place within the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh, India. Bystanders giggle nervously as the tiger looks uncomfortable, clearly regretting its choices. Perhaps those watching the scene remember a time they too made a bad meal choice and paid the price later.
“Tiger seen uneasy after eating python [and] vomiting,” wrote Samachar in Hindi. “[The] tiger’s condition worsened after eating python in Pilibhit Tiger Reserve.”
It’s not clear how much of the python the tiger actually ate before the video started.
