This Venomous Copperhead Snake Is Nearly Impossible to Find


Even if you’re not afraid of snakes, it’s freaky to realize just how camouflaged these animals can be when they hide in plain sight. The Missouri Wildlife Facebook page shared a photo saying there was a copperhead snake in the frame, but where? It’s nearly impossible to find the copperhead. (It’s even hard to find after you know where it is!)

Eastern copperheads are a venomous pit viper species that lives in eastern North America. They have “hourglass-shaped markings,” so look out for those to help you find the snake in the photo.
