A 42-year-old dad was hiking with his son in the Fanzengjian mountains in China when he slipped and fell down the slick rock. His 360-degree camera tracked him all the way down until a tree stopped his fall. The man survived with just cuts and bruises. The video is pretty terrifying.
The man, Yang Meng, had a 360-degree camera tracking him when he slipped. The camera fell with him, capturing an intense up-close view of Meng as he slid and slid and slid. CNN reports that Meng originally posted his video on a Chinese social media platform and it went viral.
In an interview with CNN, Meng said:
“Life is really short, so we need to cherish every day. I won’t let this incident hold me back. If anything, it’s pushing me to explore the world even more.”
