I love a good David-and-Goliath story. Evidently, a lot of other people do, too, since a recent TikTok video showing a tiny Pomeranian dog fiercely chasing a large bear out of its home went viral. This five-pound “David” wasn’t afraid of the massive “Goliath” at all. In fact, hilarious security-camera footage shows the dog having zero hesitation as it chases the bear off its turf. That’s the Pomeranian way.
Kayla Kleine is the dog’s owner, and they live in Vancouver, Canada. She says in her TikTok post that the bear was in the kitchen for a few minutes before her “guard dog” realized it was there. Kleine also notes in a text overlay that the Pomeranian weighs only five pounds. Her video has 6.4 million views.

“Tiny dogs are seriously the wildest,” wrote one person in the comments section.
“Do either one of them know what type of animal they are?” jokingly asks another.

The incident definitely stroked the tiny dog’s ego, since Kleine says this is how he’s been behaving ever since:
