Rare Baby Clouded Leopard Steals Hearts on TikTok

The Nashville Zoo recently welcomed a rare baby clouded leopard into its family of animal ambassadors. The tiny cub is very cute, and the TikTok community is going nuts over it. The zoo doesn’t know yet if the cub is a male or a female, and it doesn’t yet have a name, but already about a million people are in love with the little leopard.

“Say hello to our 15 day old clouded leopard cub,” wrote Nashville Zoo in a TikTok post sharing the video. The post has over 1 million views.

Wild clouded leopards live in the cloud forests of Southeast Asia. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) classifies them as Vulnerable due to threats such as habitat loss and poaching for their skin.

Although it looks like the baby leopard is growling in the video, Nashville Zoo clarifies in a comment reply that no sound is coming out of its tiny mouth—at least not yet!
