A raccoon went for the ride of its life when the pickup truck where it was hiding drove off, eventually ending up on the freeway in San Mateo, California. Another person driving on the freeway spotted the raccoon in the bed of the truck and recorded the hilarious scene. Her video went viral this summer, and it just keeps popping back up as more people discover it.

KTLA 5 shared the story (and the video) on YouTube, and you really can’t help but laugh when you watch it. The raccoon seems to oscillate between enjoying the wild ride and questioning all of its life choices. At one point, it seems to look around for a way out, but the truck was moving way too quickly for the animal to safely bail.
