Bruno Lobo, an Olympic kitesurfer, became one woman’s guardian angel when he randomly came across her as she was struggling to swim in the ocean. It seems she got swept out far from the shore and was close to drowning. The kitesurfer was out practicing and testing camera equipment when he heard the woman’s cries for help, found her, and promptly saved her by hauling her back to shore where lifeguards could perform first aid.

Lobo, a Brazilian, performed this act of heroism last Friday off the coast of São Luís, Brazil. “The day that God used me as an instrument to save this young woman, all honor and glory to Him,” wrote Lobo in an Instagram post sharing the footage from his camera, which was rolling the whole time.
