Officials Struggle to Release ‘World’s Most Bad*ss’ Bobcat Kitten

A bobcat kitten named Mr. Murderbritches had zero interest in cooperating with humans, even as they released him back into the wild. In a video of Mr. Murderbritches’ release from the Center for Biological Diversity, the tiny wild cat repeatedly swipes at the wildlife official’s hand as he tries to open the cage. The kitten not only swipes but also growls aggressively at him, proving who’s boss (even from inside a cage). Ultimately, a second person has to step in and help. The second wildlife official distracts the combative cat as the first person unlocks and opens the door.

“Watch these wildlife officials struggle to stay alive as they release the world’s most [bad*ss] bobcat kitten back into the wild,” wrote the Center for Biological Diversity in its YouTube caption. “The wild cat, who we are calling Mr. Murderbritches, was relocated after he was caught eating chickens in Kanarraville, Utah.”

As it runs from its cage, the officials breathed a sigh of relief. It’s clear this little bobcat has strong survival instincts.

“Long live Mr. Murderbritches!” the center adds in its caption.
