Firefighters, alongside South Dakota Game Fish and Parks, came to the rescue Sunday morning when residents of a Rapid City, South Dakota neighborhood reported a kitty (a big kitty) in a place it wasn’t supposed to be. Turns out, there a mountain lion in a neighborhood tree, and it was stuck there.

Rapid City, SD Professional Firefighters posted some photos of the treed mountain lion on its Facebook page, calling it a “cool experience” for the shift on call. The post explains that the firefighters assisted South Dakota Game Fish and Parks in tranquilizing the mountain lion and catching it when it fell from the tree.
Thankfully, the incident didn’t cause harm to any humans or animals, according to local news.
