Bull Rides a Scooter in India

Footage from a security camera in India shows a random bull investigating a motorized scooter that’s parked on the side of a street. What happens next seems stranger than fiction.

The bull mounts the scooter, with two legs on the scooter’s seat and two legs still on the ground. Then, the bull manages to ride the scooter down the street. It can’t steer very well and ends up running out of clear space to ride. The bizarre scene culminates as the bull dismounts and simply walks away, likely leaving everyone nearby in shock at what they’d just seen.

According to a 2023 Business Insider article, there are about 5 million stray cattle roaming and causing havoc in India. Business Insider claims these animals eat garbage, cause car accidents, attack people, and spread disease. Apparently, they also steal and ride people’s scooters. However, cows are revered in Hinduism, the dominant religion in India, making the issue a bit complicated.

Thankfully, no people, animals, or motorized vehicles were damaged in this incident.
