One woman got a shock after she discovered that a black bear had thoroughly destroyed her car in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. A video of the ruined interior of her vehicle went viral on TikTok and serves as a reminder to all who live, visit, or recreate in bear country: Always lock your car doors.
“Welcome to Gatlinburg!” wrote @Gretchentherealtor in her TikTok post sharing the shocking video.

The footage shows the aftermath of what must have been absolute chaos after a black bear entered Gretchen’s car. The roof is completely torn down, and the bear shredded it. Wires hang from the vehicle’s ceiling, and the bear even took a dump for her to find.
In the background, as Gretchen films, someone says: “He ate your car!”
