Grizzly bears are one of the top predators in the Glacier National Park ecosystem, but that didn’t scare one mama moose from a showdown with a grizzly that had killed one of her calves. Clearly, she was mad. Guests at Montana’s Many Glacier Hotel watched from a balcony as the moose chased the grizzly bear along the shoreline.

Reddit user Assistant-Sea shared the video on the r/GlacierNationalPark thread, saying the grizzly had attacked and killed one of the moose’s calves before the chase. Apparently, there was a second calf the mama moose was trying to protect by chasing the grizzly away.
Although this event happened three years ago, the viral video is still making the rounds on social media. It’s not every day you see a grizzly bear run in fear, after all.
