Large Bear Huffs, Puffs, Scratches Back on Trail Cam

A community of wildlife lovers shares trail-cam footage from the greater Anchorage, Alaska area in a Facebook group called Muldoon Area Trail Photos and Videos. Some of the latest footage on the page is from Joe Cantil, who shared several videos from a trail cam that saw a lot of bear activity on August 5. Cantil’s footage shows a large bear as it huffs, puffs, and uses a tree for some satisfying back scratches.

“Wait for it!! Turn up Audio,” wrote Cantil about one of the videos, which shows a very large bear walking past the camera. A bear (possibly a second individual) then peeks its head into the frame right at the end.

In a separate video from the same trail cam, a large bear (perhaps the same one from before) scratches its back against a tree.
