Who Needs Coffee When a Mountain Lion Is Staring at You?

A woman sitting on her front porch realized she was not alone, so she decided to take a video to see if anyone else could spot what had spotted her. There was an animal—a big cat—staring at her from the rocks and bushes across the yard, and the woman believes it was a mountain lion.

Lacey Elizabeth shared her video to Instagram, saying: “Who needs coffee when there’s a mountain lion staring at you?” She also jokingly asks: “Is this my final moment?”

The mountain lion is well hidden, and many people note that they couldn’t see the mountain lion until the second time they watched Elizabeth’s video. Some commenters say it’s nothing but a house cat, while others claim it’s a bobcat. Others agree that it’s a mountain lion.

For what it’s worth, Elizabeth has shared about mountain-lion activity in her yard before. Sadly, not long before the video with the staring mountain lion, she shared a Reel claiming that a mountain lion had killed some of her chickens.
