Giddy Man Climbs Tree, Says Other Adults Should Try It (Video)

Peter Mairhofer seems like a happy dude. He even made me feel happy after I watched his viral video showing him at the top of a really tall tree. Mairhofer can’t contain his glee about reaching the top and enjoying a spectacular view. While climbing a tree this tall can definitely be dangerous, Mairhofer thinks more adults should try it. After all, why don’t we stop to climb a tree every once in a while once we become adults?

“Seriously, when was the last time that you [climbed] a tree?” Mairhofer writes in his Instagram post sharing his video. “Can we please normalize that you can also climb a tree as a grown up? I promise you the feeling will take you back into your childhood and makes you feel happier and free.”

We love the idea that something as simple as climbing a tree could transport us all back to a simpler, more carefree time in our lives. Perhaps this is a way more of us could try to enjoy nature in 2025.

Would you ever stop to climb a tree as an adult? Why or why not?
