Bigfoot Sighting in Navajo Nation Begs Question: What’s out There?

A photo circulating online shows an alleged Bigfoot sighting in the Arizona portion of the Navajo Nation, near Ganado. The Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization (RMSO) analyzed the photo and shared the background story in a YouTube video and a blog post.

An older woman reportedly spotted this creature in a canyon area on the Navajo Nation while outside with her livestock. She heard strange noises, then saw the Bigfoot-like creature, which she claims looked up at her before she turned the other way and got out of the area with her sheep. Her niece retells the story to RMSO, claiming the photo is actually from a couple of years ago.

Whether you believe in Bigfoot or not, it’s certainly interesting to see photos like this and consider what you’re looking at. Based on RMSO’s background research of this area, it also makes us wonder: What’s living out there on tribal lands near the Four Corners area of Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado? If there’s no such thing as Bigfoot, what are people seeing, exactly?
