We missed this video the first time it went viral, so we’re glad it’s going around again. Two years ago, a couple said their vows surrounded by natural beauty. While the groom was reading his vows, however, nature had a moment, apparently unaware of the sacred event happening just across the river. A grizzly bear killed a moose as the bride, groom, and wedding guests looked on in confusion and horror.

Stanton Giles was the wedding videographer that day, and he managed to capture not only the groom’s full wedding vows but also the grizzly/moose incident on video. We have to hand it to the groom, who carried on reading his sweet vows while the moose groaned in terror. As soon as the groom finished his vows, Giles alerted the couple to what was happening behind them (many people had already noticed), and then they had to just wait it out.
What a bizarre turn of events! I guess this is the risk you take when you get married in nature.
