China Daily reports that the Sky Ladder via ferrata, which provides sky-high views of China’s Hunan Province from Qixing Mountain, is one of the nation’s most popular new attractions for adventurers. Undoubtedly, the views from the giant ladder are spectacular, especially since it’s 1,500 meters (5,000 feet) high, and also because it’s within the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, a UNESCO heritage site celebrated for its natural beauty.

The Sky Ladder or “Tianti” is 551 feet long, according to China Daily, and it stretches between two cliffs at a height of 5,000 feet. Guests climb up steel cables with handrails and can clip to the railing for safety. Although it’s apparently very popular, I don’t think I’d do this. Would you?
