Who knew a monkey eating fruit in the ocean could be so relatable? A TikTok video from a woman who went to Thailand on vacation shows waves continuously beating on a monkey that’s just trying to enjoy some tropical fruit in a beautiful place. Why does life have to be so hard, anyway?
“My guy kept getting hit by waves but he was hungry lol,” wrote Deandra Cortez on TikTok. Her hashtags suggests Cortez was visiting Monkey Island in Phuket, Thailand, when she spotted the animal trying to enjoy what appears to be some pineapple near the shore. As the monkey chows down, the waves keep coming, knocking it around a bit, but the monkey is dead set on enjoying its fruit.
