Is That a Two-Legged Black Bear?

A two-legged black bear made an appearance on a man’s trail cam in the Appalachian Mountains. Kirk Price posted footage of the bear on YouTube and Instagram, and many people express surprise that this bear has managed to survive in the wild for as long as it clearly has.

“Have you ever seen anything like this?! I just got the bear with two legs on [a] trail camera,” Price wrote in his YouTube caption. In an Instagram post, he called this two-legged bear “famous” and says it’s a “local legend.”

“I love watching [this bear],” Price adds. “You know he has to be a warrior to make it this long. As far as I know, he’s been this way since birth. It’s great seeing him walking around as well as ever.”

In a follow-up post, Price shares additional footage from his trail cam taken about a week later. In this video, the two-legged bear charges at a wild boar.
