Though many people associate penguins with Earth’s poles, penguins only live in the southern hemisphere, so you’ll never see a polar bear and a penguin together in the wild. If you see a penguin surrounded by ice in a photo, you can assume it’s the Antarctic (South Pole) and not the Arctic (North Pole).
